Segment 1:
Sam opens the show with quotes pertaining to mindfulness and thriving. He elaborates on how visualizing one’s goals as already accomplished has the power to manifest them into reality.  Sam transitions into an exercise one can do to practice acting as if one has already achieved their goals. Sam moves to the Abraham quote speaking on things we expect to come to us, and why they may not be. Additionally, Sam explains how one must be a vibrational match to their lusted after goals and rewards. Sam postulates, perhaps you have done all the work and deserve the goal, though you don’t truly feel you deserve them. Sam notes that focusing on achieving goals for the feeling of thriving is more satisfying than the goals themselves.

Segment 2:
Sam returns to the audience with a welcoming of today’s guest, Christine Powers, with some talk and background on her experience as an energy healer and starting Philosophers Camp. Powers shares an anecdote on her early life in spirituality, and the two talk of their various rebirth incidences. Powers continues with her notable events in her spiritual journey.

Segment 3:
Powers’ reflects that her various steps of letting things go made her more in tune with her spirituality. She created the camp so all different types of people can come together to share their ideas. Powers’ explains the origin of Philosopher’s Camp coming indirectly from old traditions from Ralph Waldo Emerson. She also explains the environment of the camp and the effects participants feel throughout the camp. The camp has an energy conducive to meditation and self reflection; focusing on disconnection from technology and the stressors of today.

Segment 4:
The concept of a Philosopher’s Camp is just as important today, as it was long ago. She remarks how holding this event in nature is crucial, as it allows one to reconnect with themselves. The current technological revolution is unconducive to the natural life, and impedes one from finding one’s own truth. Spending time deep in the forest reawakens one’s natural energy and to learn more about Powers’ you can find her at www.restyourbrain.today and www.philosopherscamp.com.
