A way to keep you the victim under their control is the abuser's determination to make you figuaratively and quite literally feel like a helpless child, or should I say, an infant.
They will keep very safe, very ignorant and and very dependent for "your" best interest. Understand the fact that there is an image the abuse has to maintain, a status to keep, a power to exercise and a vehicle to run, and that will never be achieved unless you feed their tiny ego repeatedly in hopes of fulfilling their wishes.
WAKE UP to the reality that you are baited into the *numbing and paralyzing process* of infantilisation to keep you under their control.
