Konnichiwa, and welcome to another episode of Japan Rugby Weekly.
Join Rugby Translator Doug Picken, Japan 7's Representative Joe Kamana, Japan International Centre William Tupou, and Coca-Cola Red Sparks Young Gun Brody Macaskill each week as they yarn about life in Japan as a professional rugby player.
This week the boys are joined by Japan National Team Captain Michael Leitch.
Leitchy moved to Japan 17 years ago and hasn't looked back since, and in this episode he shares his incredible journey to become the captain of the Brave Blossoms team. We also talk about the final few minutes in the famous victory against South Africa in the 2015 World Cup, and what it meant to make it out of the group stages in the 2019 Japan Tournament.
We had a lot of fun recording this one, so make sure to give it a listen and let us know what you think.
