You have to be careful as a creative not to get stuck trying to make your creations perfect; it can consume you and make you think that the mistakes made are not apart of the journey. It’s good to strive for perfection, but perfection comes with attempts, meaning one episode doesn’t make you perfect but continuing to drop episodes helps you work on perfection! With that said, I wanted to re-record this episode cause I made the same audio mistake as I did before in episode 15. K.A. Wright gave me some gems during this episode that I found invaluable. He spoke on his journey on why he wrote Perfect Just Like You! He spoke about his beginnings and how His artistry is derived! The experience for me that made me forget about second guessing this episode was the fact that He personalized a note and autographed a copy of Perfect Just Like You for MY SON with a date and time stamp! Somethings can recreated but moments like that, that I can speak to my son about I couldn’t recreate! This episode is also dedicated to my son! I love you Baby D!
