I love what I do, there hasn't been one creative that I brought on that hasn't felt the same about themselves and what I am doing! I'm a very perceptive person! In this lane, I am constantly watching and looking out for the creatives! That's when I peeped what Monique was doing! She's a U of H Delta who graduated with a Communications degree! She sites that from the age of 9 she always wanted to write! She wrote a book entitled The Graduate and polished it up! She sent me the refined version and that version is what our discussion was about! I found the piece to be descriptive! I found that Monique writes as if she is a well known author and during the conversation I heard how trained she is and what helped her get to this point in her career for example being certified to ghost write. This isn't a book review but more so an opportunity to invoke praise in a powerful creative! A woman of purpose Monique stated that she will hang up her hat on writing her own projects to become more focused on screen writing! I want to interrupt this description to say that The vocalist and R&B powerhouse Damaria gave me her blessings to play her video on my podcast! Y'all know I love her EP, I love her music and I gotta play her stuff on my podcast! Enjoy that video y'all (33:36)! Its a blessing to sit and talk with Monique like I said I've been watching her creatively! There was no perfect episode to put her on I'm grateful that she came out even though I was tardy!
