The Call is a South Korean thriller about two people from two different time periods who are connected to each other by telephone. As the two become friends, the effects of their friendship become irreversible.
I got interested in this film as I was perusing through Nextflix titles to watch when I stumbled on The Call’s trailer. The trailer had me hooked, so I decided to watch it. The story centers around our main character Seo-Yeon who loses her phone after visiting her mom in the hospital. She reconnects the landline phone in her house and starts to receive strange calls from a female caller.
