We are not born again to just be hopeful about going to heaven one day. Scripture declares that God in His abundant mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Christ from the dead. It’s not just hope, it’s not a dead hope, it’s not a futuristic hope too. But rather we are born in to a living hope. A hope that is for us in the present.
