For almost thirteen wild years, this infamous bar in Pacific Beach played host to an eclectic brotherhood of engineers, artists, and hard-living bikers bound by their love of bikes and the unbridled pursuit of a good time. Fishnets, sea shells, and the ever-present Greek music set the stage for mayhem, as beer and banter flowed freely. However, the relentless pressure from the city and law enforcement eventually silenced the roar and Maynards was replaced by soulless condominiums, leaving behind a void where once a magic shack stood, a testament to the irrepressible spirit of a bygone era...
