Super excited to announce new guest, Andrew Russell to The Story!
Andrew got his start with music at an early age. Andrew started making mix tapes by grabbing snips from the radio of the tunes he loved as a child and would then learn to play his first drum kit along with the tracks. As Andrew grew up, he started to learn other instruments and found that he could quickly pick up the basics of most instruments he put his hands on. In his teenage years, Andrew watched as digital technology started to develop in the industry and became hooked on sampling, sequencing, and mixing beats and songs of his own -behind a computer or a mixer felt more at home for him.
Andrew soon found himself mixing FOH for some of the best Cabaret singers on the NYC circuit while still in high school. The road from there took a few twists and turns (literally) but after some time he found himself back behind a mixer doing what he truly loves, bringing quality sound music to the masses. Andrew now works as the lead music engineer at Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse in Lancaster, PA.
