Super excited to announce new guest, Jen Felty, to The Story!
Jennifer, a Lancaster County native, had a love for musical theatre and sports at a very young age. She spent her childhood on the stage, the soccer field, the volleyball court, the basketball court and behind a piano or cello. Despite the pleadings of her coaches and directors, she continued playing sports and doing theatre and music. Jen excelled at soccer in college where she gained All-American status her senior year.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in vocal performance from Houghton College, NY, a second Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Bible from LBC, and a Masters’ of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Penn State. Jen has performed in numerous musicals as well as opera productions in regional theatres. Her favorites include Denise in Smoke on the Mountain, Carrie in Carousel, and singing while playing the banjo, fiddle, and upright bass at the Grand Ol’ Opry and accompanying tv program Opry Backstage.
Most recently, she has been focusing on directing shows, teaching voice, and managing the careers of her two children.
