Adam Wright serves as the pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Lancaster, where he lives with his wife Allison and their two children, Max (4) and Lydia (8)—as well as a mischievous nine-week-old puppy named Roxanne. With a heart for ministry that extends beyond Sunday mornings, Adam is dedicated to fostering close community connections through small groups, youth programs, and hands-on mission work, including disaster relief in North Carolina. He’s a warm and engaging leader who believes in making faith practical and accessible all week long. Adam is co-host of “Beyond Sunday,” where he partners with Dr. Hennis to answer real-life questions and bring biblical insight to everyday challenges.

Dr. Hugh Hennis is a retired ophthalmologist who practiced in Mount Airy, North Carolina—Andy Griffith's hometown, where he even counted Andy’s best friend, Emmett Farr, among his patients. Now living in Lancaster with his wife Lynn, Dr. Hennis is passionate about connecting faith and daily life outside the traditional church setting. As host of “Beyond Sunday,” he aims to create a welcoming platform for people to ask questions and explore Christianity in a more accessible, conversational environment. Known for his friendly and down-to-earth personality, Dr. Hennis also enjoys being active in his community and faith, hosting small groups at his home and engaging with church outreach efforts.
