Another Oscar nominated movie we watched, that's supporting "depressing Oscar movies," is Judas and the Black Messiah. Maybe it's less depressing and more rage inducing. This is a movie based on a key moment Fred Hampton's life, his assassination and the mole who helped it. If you want another reason to be mad at the United States goverment, have a listen.
