Crime, mystery, fantasy, and sci-fi author Claire A Murray has more than a dozen short stories published. One story earned Honorable Mention and two took third place in competitions, and she’s compiling a collection for a fall 2023 release.
She is finishing a suspense-fantasy novel, has a trilogy in progress, and needs to edit a completed amateur sleuth novel. A former educator, manager, and advocate, she hosts weekly Zoom write-ins for aspiring and published authors and is active with critique groups.
Claire is President of Sisters in Crime Desert Sleuths Chapter. In 2022, she developed and cohosted Anthology Jam, a 6-session write-in/discussion program for the chapter focused on short story writing skills, tips, and resources.
She belongs to four SinC chapters, the Short Mystery Fiction Society, and Mystery Writers of America.
