This week's diving deeper episode is all about community. The call to it, the joy of, and at times the heartbreak it brings. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 gives us a very clear picture of why The Lord calls us to Godly relationship and what happens when we don't have it.
Car Key Story:
- God gives us the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus for others.
- This is how we as a church need to lead by example for others.
Fear & Rejection:
- These two words are what keep us away from going deeper with our relationships.
- These two words lie to our hearts and allow the enemy the take a mile.
"Come To Me":
- Jesus calls us to come to Him for rest - rest comes with having a community to love on you.
- It's an invitation to be able to walk alongside people who we can help and they can help us. It's a gift from Christ.
Community:
- There is heartache and heartbreak within community but the beauty and blessings that come from it far outweigh the hard.
- If you're in a church that continues to make getting into community difficult it may be time to ask The Lord is this where He wants you.
- The Lord may to calling you to be the one who speaks up in your congregation to share with leaders about that issues.
