Description

Charlotte city leaders are pumping the brakes on a controversial development that would bring hundreds of homes to the Elizabeth neighborhood. 

The plan is to bring more apartments to the area on Central Avenue and Piedmont Street, but many surrounding homeowners are against the project. Leaders wanted more input from the community from the developers of the project. The zoning committee will vote on the measure at a later date. Richard DeVayne has the latest update:
