Thousands met at the Bank of America Stadium on Saturday for the Concert for Carolina. The country music event was put on to raise money and awareness for those impacted in western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.
The concert saw artists like Luke Combs, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice, and many others take the stage for the cause.
Concertgoers told WCNC Charlotte they were excited to come out and enjoy the concert. With all proceeds going to those affected, people said they were even more excited to get to do their part.
Over $24.5 million has been raised, and the online auction is still going at concertforcarolina.com.
