Bryce Hendricks (@BryceHendrick14) of the Upside Swings Podcast (@Upsideswings) joins Matt Modderno to introduce listeners to the players to know in the 2023 NBA Draft. The Wizards owe their 2023 1st round pick to the Knicks unless the pick falls in the lottery. ESPN and Vegas both project the Wizards to end up with around 34 wins, which would likely make them a lottery team again. While we hope that doesn't happen, we are covering our bases by preparing for it. The Wizards could also trade one of their expiring contracts in return for a pick as Tommy Sheppard has seemed committed to valuing draft capital.
