What are the differences between marketing roles on the Agency side and the Client/Brand side?

Great for internships or entry level roles - opportunity to learn a ton.
And be a practitioner for a particular marketing channel.
Great for career switchers - someone wanting to learn about marketing.
Client side roles
Great for exposure to breadth of learning multiple marketing channels
Greater collaboration with other departments within the business
Holistic view of how all departments and channels work together
