Jon is a Graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. He worked in radio in Burlington Vermont, Detroit (Channel 955), New Orleans, then back to Detroit (98.7 Amp Radio). After being laid off from Amp Radio he tried to reinvent himself by looking for marketing and social media jobs but never quite found the right fit.
After learning about podcasting and with the guidance of his wife he started JAG in Detroit Podcasts in 2018 – he was terrified to be a business owner but has never been happier.
In this episode, he shares what it was like starting his own business and fun celebrity stories about meeting his entire bucket list trio of Steven Tyler, Carrie Underwood, and Bret Michaels – all for very different reasons.
