Happy Mindful Monday Everyone!

In this week's episode, our host Allie Brooke discusses simple ways to help alleviate anxious energy. Walking has helped Allie shake out her anxiety, moving your body in any way can help immensely with coping with anxious thoughts. There are moments though at work and in school where you can't necessarily move your body such as dancing, working out, bike rides, hikes, etc... Next time you feel anxious, go for a 10-20 minute walk around your neighborhood if you are working from home. In an office, take a walk around the building or nearly by the downtown area. Perhaps during your lunch go walk and get coffee. At school take a walk around the hallways near your class. When you are stagnant the anxiety will grow. If you move your body, your brain begins to focus on the movement rather than the thoughts.
