Description

Are your thoughts helping you move forward—or holding you back?

In this honest and heart-stirring episode of Thinking That Matters, I sit down with Jennifer Bruschman, development manager at Hugs Café Inc., to explore how choosing faith over fear—and intention over assumption—can radically transform your life.

Jennifer shares her deeply personal journey through divorce, career pivots, and rediscovering her confidence. From second-guessing herself in rooms where she didn’t feel she belonged, to learning how intentional thinking and vulnerable conversations could break cycles of fear, Jennifer opens up about the mindset shifts that helped her grow into the woman she is today.

She also talks about the incredible mission of Hugs Café—a nonprofit creating job opportunities for adults with special needs—and how it’s become more than a job for her. It’s become a place where purpose, passion, and personal healing all intersect.
