These BYU Cougars are legit on the front lines — as proven on Saturday — and their secondary is one of the most elite in college football. What's more, they have a quarterback who's been in Provo for five years in Jaren Hall. He is lights out. With a senior-laden team and an atmosphere like the one in Lavell Edwards Stadium, it's no wonder BYU got the win on Saturday.
Jarom is also confident that Baylor pulls closer or even beats the Cougars at a neutral site. WIthout the crowd being as raucous as it was, Baylor certainly doesn't log five false starts — including two on the final drive while inside the 10. Baylor and BYU are almost entirely even, and that's a good thing.
