Stacy Doore is the Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Colby College. Her research focuses on increasing information access through emerging assistive technologies, natural-language descriptions for non-visual interfaces, as well as computing ethics, and broadening participation for marginalized groups of students and faculty in computing fields. She has served as an internal and external evaluator for NSF ADVANCE and CAREER grants. Her research, teaching, and outreach work is supported by NSF, The Luce Foundation, U.S. Dept. of Transportation, and the Mozilla Responsible Computer Science Challenge. Stacy holds a Ph.D. in Spatial Information Science and Engineering from the University of Maine.
