Originally a native of Wilmette, IL growing up, the artist speaks on having multiple hometowns, and her feelings for different regions that come with that. Flay also shares how her current deal with Interscope imprint Night Street Records is a better experience than her initial deal with RCA, likening the current deal to a healthier second marriage scenario.
The singer also reveals how more intimate songwriting styles from the artists she loves has carried over into her own lyrical narrative. Finally, Flay reveals how she linked up with fellow Chicago act Louis The Child for last year's "It's Strange" collaboration, and shares details about her next forthcoming full length, dropping in 2017.
