In this special Sunday edition of the Daily Commanders Update, the Commanders were back at practice after a day off on Saturday. It was hot and it was a long, 2 ½ hour practice in Ashburn.
Emmanuel Forbes participated in team drills but sat out the regular practice but it was good to see him out there after tweaking his groin muscle on Friday.
Sam Howell had the offense looking a little better to the delight of both Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Head Coach Ron Rivera
The team is getting ready for their first preseason game on Friday but don’t expect practice to change too much. What they’re really looking forward to is the 2 day practices up in Baltimore starting next week.
