On todays show, Andrew looks back at the life and football career of former South Carolina QB Phil Petty, who tragically passed away at a local hospital early Thursday Morning. He discusses how the news broke initially, the reaction from former teammates in WR Ryan Brewer and RB Erik Kimrey, former gamecock QB Connor Shaw and current head football coach Shane Beamer. He then talks about he had come to learn of Phil Petty through a VHS tape and the way he seemed to touch the lives of everyone he knew. Lastly, he dives into Petty's greatest moments as the Gamecocks starting QB.
Andrew then discusses the results of the MLB draft and the six players/high school commits South Carolina had selected. Following that he predicts and explains what he thinks will happen with each individual drafted player.
Finally, Andrew gives some parting thoughts on SEC Media days, including Nick Saban and Jimbo's beef, all NIL everything and who the media's darkhorse choices seem to be for both divisions this upcoming season!
