Today I'm talking with CMae from Kentucky, diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2011 at the age of 54. CMae started with vision issues, drop foot and numbness which made her see a doctor in 2009 but she received no answers for two year while doctors did crazy testing until she found a doctor that listened to her.
We talk about dating mid life with a chronic disease and how she met her husband and made sure he understood what he was getting into.
We talk about the rollercoaster of DMT's, mobility aids, motivations and how we use comedy to cope with our progression.
We also discuss the importance of our support whether it's family, friends and even TikTok.
