Today I'm talking with Matt from Indiana and a former ironman competitor., diagnosed with PPMS in 2017 but had symptoms years prior. In 2013, Matt was driving with his family when he experienced vision issues. Matt explains how it was isolated and he gained his vision back but spent the next four years with unexplained symptoms he later found out was the MS.
We talk about the understanding of the disease and how we both attacked our disease with attitude and got to work.
We get into an awesome discussion about the mental part of our training we both experienced being athletes and how we understood the power of our minds with our journey.
We talk about how we can repair our bodies with thought and mental preparation and the tools we use to get there.
Matt is an author and we talk about his book "Belief to Heal" that talks about how to use your mind to heal your body through changing the way we think.
We also talk about Symptom Free MS Summit that Matt is the founder of now in its fifth year where Doctors and healers get together to discuss ways to attack multiple sclerosis.
We also talk about his partnership with Dr David Lyons who is also an MSer that has been fighting the MS fight for 15 years himself and is huge in the fitness world to create Optimal Body Optimal Mind and launched it a year ago worldwide to help people mentally and physically fight the diagnosis and take control of it.
