Today I'm introducing MS Warrior Amber K - singer, songwriter, and newest member of my team handling original music for this podcast. Amber's full story is on my original podcast Episode 56 (funny MS moment - I said it is 54), but this is her catch-up and official introduction.
Diagnosed in 2021, Amber had a 2024 flare-up that sparked her drive to express herself through music. You'll hear her song "I Hate That It's For Me" during this episode. PRO TIP - bring tissues.
We talk about building a team of chronically ill people and giving them opportunities to show the world that even though they can't live life as intended, they can still do what they love. We discuss connections we've made and how people with chronic illness overcome and adapt to challenges.
I share about my friend Dave, a high school football coach with primary progressive MS who still coaches. Even cooler - he coached Will Campbell, the #4 pick of the 2025 season with the Patriots. That's badass!
