Today I'm introducing MS Warrior Johnny - artist and member of my team handling all art for the MS Michigan Man 64 Podcast. Johnny's full story is on my original podcast channel Episode 74 and this is his catch-up and introduction.
Johnny has always been an artist but had his dream paused because of a pituitary tumor diagnosis in 2017 and then being diagnosed with MS in 2019. Johnny and I talk about how we met an collaborated together to come up with cover art and a t-shirt design.
We talk about building a team of chronically ill people and giving them opportunities to show the world that even though they can't live life as intended, they can still do what they love. We discuss connections we've made and how people with chronic illness overcome and adapt to challenges.
We discuss the community and all the badass warriors we have met since being on TikTok and the talents they have even though they live with chronic disease and how we just want to be understood by society.
