Description

Nathaniel is back as the Adventures in Movies! gang have their final episode for Pride Month 2019. The three are joined by resident Sleepaway Camp expert Regina Chavez. The four talk about why the Felissa Rose cult classic is such a groundbreaking movie and why a typical slasher movie from 1983 is still relevant in 2019.

The show starts with a talk about Toy Story 4. No one on the show has seen it, but that does not stop them from talking about it.

The group also talk about another movie they have not seen - kinda. Avengers: Endgame has been re released with new footage. Is six minuets of all new footage worth a rewatch? You decide but the AiM! team will help you make your final decision.

This leads into a discussion of what movies and shows everyone has been watching. From weird German crime thrillers, to movies with porno like titles, to movies with porno like moments, to Annabelle Comes Home it is an eclectic bunch. First person who sends a GIF that is requested during the show wins a prize!

The main topic of the show is Sleepaway Camp. Everyone talks about what makes the show a cult classic and why it is still important today. The movie has come up sporadically for months and this was the perfect time to talk about it.

Amazon Prime Video has an entire page dedicated to Pride Month that can be found here. The page includes Prime exclusives and must see LGBTQ+ films, including some of the ones discussed during this episode.
