Host Will Kollmeyer welcomes listeners to the twenty-seventh edition of the TigerTalk podcast with the college's executive vice-president Craig-Ellis Sasser as Sasser talks about his recent national speaking engagements to promote the college and everything that is doing along with a large speaking engagement in the fall where he will team with Chris Murphy to promote the college to some of the nation's top college business officers. Sasser touches on the iPad initiative that Northeast is one of the top colleges in the nation to embrace and free textbooks and how it will affect the college's bottom line. Sasser retells the story of one of his national trips where a high-ranking member of the Apple administration singled Northeast out for what it is doing with technology. With graduation and orientation coming up in the next few weeks, the executive vice president gives his views on what to expect from those two events. Newly-elected Student Government Association president Weston Coggin of Booneville sits down for his official interview as he talks about the previous year with SGA where he served as a representative and what events were a success and gives his goals for the upcoming year under his leadership. Coggin, a nursing major at NEMCC, also talks about time management as being part of the nursing program at Northeast and gives insights into becoming a lifeguard at the Gaye Roden Carr Aquatic Center, swimming lessons and water aerobics -- all at the aquatic center this summer. As always, Kenny Paul Geno gives us his weekly spotlight of what is coming up at Northeast in this twenty-seventh edition of the TigerTalk podcast.
