In this thirty-ninth (39th) episode of the TigerTalk Podcast by Northeast Mississippi Community College, host Will Kollmeyer welcomes Northeast's vice president of finance Chris Murphy to the podcast as Murphy tells listeners about the money that students will be saving with the iPad initiative coming this fall. According to Murphy, some examples of saving students money will come from the cost of textbooks where some students had to shell out $1,100-1,200 a semester for books, that cost has been dramatically decreased. Murphy also gives listeners a detailed explanation of where the funding for the new Baseball/Softball complex is coming from. In the second half of the show, Sodexo's Bailey McDaniel joins the show to introduced new students and employees to the proudly-serves Starbuck that is housed in Cartwright Hall on campus. With Starbucks, McDaniel lets listeners in on what is the top flavors of drinks and upcoming changes to Starbucks. Kenny Paul Geno discusses all the happening on campus and gives a look at all the ways a person can connect with the college.
