In this fifty-sixth (56th) edition of the TigerTalk podcast presented by Northeast Mississippi Community College, host Will Kollmeyer welcomes listeners to 2019 with a pair of special guests. NEMCC Vice President for Workforce and Economic Development Nadara Cole stops in to give the podcast a run-down of what her division has been busy with the last few months. From the start of Adult Basic Education (ABE) to continuing education to Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds to some new surprises in her division, Cole gives listeners a chance to see into one of the complex divisions on campus. In the second half of the show, Kollmeyer welcomes back Robert Walker, the NEMCC Fitness Center director, to the podcast to talk about New Year's resolutions, how to lose that stubborn fat and also the "Lighten Up Northeast" contest where the winners receive Apple Watches. Kollmeyer wraps up the podcast with a new addition to the publication -- an extended version of what is coming up on campus that details events happening on and around the Northeast campus in a daily breakdown. It contains one of the most comprehensive lists of events and happenings on campus -- so if you have an event or happening on campus and want it mentioned on the podcast, please reach out. If you haven't subscribed to the podcast, now would be a good time to subscribe to stay up-to-date on all the happenings on the Northeast campuses and hear in-depth interviews with guests each week.
