In this sixty-seventh (67th) edition of the TigerTalk podcast presented by Northeast Mississippi Community College, host Will Kollmeyer welcomes Northeast women's basketball coach and the chair of our diversity committee Brenda Mayes to campus to talk about one of the committee's most important days of the year -- Diversity Day, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 on the quad in front of the Ramsey Student Services Building. As part of Diversity Day, students will see everything that the college has to offer with booths set up from every club and organization on campus, Northeast director of bands Bryan Mitchell is in charge of the entertainment while Sodexo will be serving lunch on the lawn that day. Robert Walker and his staff from the Burgess Fitness Center will also be set up during Diversity Day to help students become more active in their campus. In the second half of the podcast, Northeast's Mr. and Miss Northeast Mississippi Community College Weston Coggin of Booneville and Avaline Morris of Burnsville join Kollmeyer to talk about the honor of being selected for the top award at the college and also talk about their experience at Northeast as each one is slated to graduate in May and head off into the workforce and to a four-year university, respectively.
