Northeast Mississippi Community College president Dr. Ricky G. Ford sits with Marketing and Public Relations Specialist Liz Roark to talk about the family-friendly events that Northeast has coming up, including the ever-popular TigerTown Tailgate on Thursday, October 13 in the quad area around the fountain in front of the Ramsey Student Services Building, the free community-wide tailgate and a fireworks extravaganza at halftime of the Northeast-East Mississippi football game on Thursday night. Northeast also offers the family-friendly Late Night Madness, as fans are welcome to meet the men's and women's basketball teams and cheerleaders for the winter portion of the semester. In the second part of the interview, Ford talks about a significant grant that the college's Division of Health Sciences received from Accelerate MS to help bolster the nursing ranks in Mississippi. In the final part of the interview, Ford explains the various events and activities happening on the Northeast campus and its satellite locations.
