The FAN Morning Show hits the airwaves on Thursday with reaction to the Maple Leafs being blown out in Vegas by the Golden Knights. Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning discuss if it’s was a wake up call for Toronto on the NHL's trade deadline eve. They look at where the team was lacking and especially focus on in between the pipes where Joseph Woll got beat early and often which led to him being pulled. The hosts debate if this ends the timeshare between Toronto’s tandem and brings the discussion of who is their "go-to guy”. B&B also look at the Matthew Knies dropping the mitts early in the game, how it didn’t lead to much momentum for his team and if him doing that had anything to do with the upcoming deadline Friday. In the backend of the hour, the boys look at the teams that have made moves already, most notably Tampa and Penguins, who pulled the trigger on deals yesterday. They also look at Jack Hughes' season ending injury and where that leaves Sheldon Keefe and the Devils ahead of the deadline.
