Agnes Fischer and Erica Roberts joined BBH USA just about a year ago as the agency was undergoing change in the region. Then-CEO Amani Duncan had left, and the agency brought together its New York and LA offices in a major reorganization.

One year later, Fischer and Roberts have refocused the team on the work. The agency, which works with clients including Smuckers, Heineken and Samsung, is rebalancing the split between project and AOR work and looking for partnerships that allow it to build enduring brand ideas. Its familiar territory for Roberts, who is credited with rebuilding many brands under the J.M. Smucker Co. portfolio. 

In this episode, Fischer and Roberts talk about BBH’s journey in the past year, including how the agency is embracing generative AI and attracting more black sheep to its flock.
