The creator economy has changed quite a bit over the last six years. And according to  Whalar's president of North American Brand Partnerships, Joanna Cronk, the desire to work with creators has never been stronger - because they are breaking all the rules. 

In this conversation, we chat with Cronk about the evolution of creators going from influencers to entrepreneurs, the benefits of prioritizing trust over creative control and why industry payment terms are harmful to the creator economy. Cronk also shares a few creative ideas from her agency day that ended up on the cutting room floor, including a Game of Thrones-branded NASA spacecraft.
