Oregon Football has been pursuing 5-star QB Nico Iamaleava in the class of 2023. Recently, recruiting sites such as 247Sports changed their "crystal ball prediction" for the southern California recruit from Oregon to Tennessee.
Around the same time, reports of an $8 million NIL deal to a "southern California QB prospect" surfaced, leading many to theorize that Iamaleava might choose Tennessee because of the money. What this means for Oregon Football's recruiting writ-large, and why it's not the end of the world if it turns out to be true.
