Oregon Football missed out on former UCLA defensive end Mitchell Agude despite making it into his top three final schools. With just 2 players on the roster listed as defensive ends or edge players (with 1 incoming freshman, Anthony Jones), the Ducks need help on the edge to get after the passer. Maryland DE Demeioun Robinson would be a welcome addition to the roster for Dan Lanning's defense.
Robinson, a highly-rated 4-star recruit, spent his freshman season at Maryland but has entered his name into the transfer portal. Oregon should be looking at Robinson closely and making an offer. A top-50 recruit in the country who is 6'4" and 250lbs has the potential to make an impact for the Ducks in 2022 if the staff could convince him to come across the country to Eugene. But that could prove to be a challenging task since other Big 10 schools were interested in him coming out of high school as well.
