Brunk spent the 2016-19 seasons at for Butler, playing in a total of 60 games over 3 seasons averaging 4.9 points and 4.6 rebounds. He transferred to Indiana in 2019 and spent two seasons with the Hoosiers. Played his final season of collegiate basketball at Ohio State (2021-22), where he shot a career best 63% from the field. Currently, Brunk plays for Twarde Pierniki Torun in Poland. During the 2022-23 season in Poland, he averaged 9.9 points, 6.7 Rebounds, and 1.1 Assists per game.
