100 MILES TO GO. If you ever hear those words while you're running most of you would be in big trouble, myself included. When Matt Pedersen hears them he is unaffected except for an excitement that continues to build inside him. This is what he does. He is an ultramarathon runner. Marathons are 26.2 miles and completing at least one, for most, is a huge life accomplishment. Matt has run multiple races that are over 100 miles long. It takes a different type of mindset, dedication, and perseverance to accomplish a feat like that even once! However, Matt discusses with me how his mindset and personality helps him be able to finishes these insane races. In this episode of Pencil Leadership we will dig deeper into the type of perseverance and mental toughness it takes to defeat huge obstacles in life and how knowing yourself puts you at a big advantage.
