Episode 6: Adam Reed on The Man from Jupiter (S3E4)
Archer creator Adam Reed sits down with Amber Nash (Pam) to talk The Man from Jupiter — the iconic episode that brought Burt Reynolds into the Archer universe and gave us one of the show’s most delightful installments.
They dig into everything from the haunted East Atlanta house where Archer got its start, to driving “like an egg,” and why not every actor is cut out for voice work. Amber reflects on Adam’s Southern sensibilities, how they helped shape the world of Archer, and why he eventually had to make the title character a little nicer… just so he could live with him.
Also covered: elaborate voicemail hoaxes, the physics of fire poles, the reliable VW Jetta, and a little Rush fandom for good measure.
FX’s Archer is now streaming on Hulu.
