Kevin Costner has released Part 1 of his four-part movie epic "Horizon: An American Saga" to mixed Hollywood reviews and a box-office flop. This is a film Costner has tried to make for decades. In the face of studio rejections, he has resorted to pouring much of his own money into the Western. There's a lot riding on this one, but Costner has said he isn't worried about box-office numbers. Unlike others in the genre, this film covers a lot of ground with multiple stories, all connected by one idea — a town named Horizon.
