He's been a web developer, operations engineer, product manager, engineering director, and more.
He advocates for using Agile, Lean, DevOps, and smart management processes to solve business problems in a fast-moving world. Ernest is noted leader in the DevOps movement and the Austin technical community. He helps organize the CloudAustin user group and the DevOpsDays Austin and All Day DevOps conferences.
