This week! We’re going through our open tabs and will be discussing the current state of the illustration industry, why desk jobs can be exhausting, and the inherent privilege of creative work.

Helping us bring some outside perspective today is our special guest and Jacky Winter Artist Beci Orpin.

Beci is a creative practitioner based right here in Melbourne! Her work occupies a space between illustration, design and craft. Beci has run a freelance studio for over 20 years, catering to a wide range of clients, as well as exhibiting her work both locally and internationally. She has authored four D.I.Y books and one children’s title. Her work is described as colourful, graphic, bold, feminine and dream-like. She also happens to the the other half of Raph Rashid, who we interviewed way back in episode 33!
