The Knicks coming off a 3 game losing streak came out the gate struggling. The talent, speed and pace of the Kings overwhelmed the Knicks in the first half. Slowing Brunson down with double teams and traps, the Knicks needed to find other sources for scoring and so they did. Josh Hart finished with 31 pts 8 asts and 9 rebs, Divencenzo tallied 21 pts and Brunson ultimately was able to dissect the defense with 35 pts and 11 asts. After hearing news of Julius Randle being out for the season its seemed as if there was an impending doom to this team, as if things were on there way downhill but this team will not be beat without a fighting chance and they proved it with this game. After being down most of the game the Knicks beat the Kings the way they knew how, tough defense leading to offense and being physical with the opposing team.
