If we’re going to understand the fear of the LORD, we need to understand the LORD in whom we are to fear.
“It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:31
“Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4
“Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” Psalm 34:11
“Turn from evil and do good.” Psalm 34:14
“The fear of the LORD” is:
- Turning from evil.
- Doing what is good.
Reverence, Repentance, and Right Living.
