Sam, like the plotts he runs, is warm and energetic, gritty and tough. Despite being in his mid seventies and having a 50 year career to look back on, Sam is still tangibly enthusiastic about the lifestyle he lives, and his enthusiasm is infectious. As I pick Sam's brain about dog training, breeding, and what learn what is required of him to turn a pup turn into a top performer.
